City to Surf, fire in soul burns, chill of dawn

今日はCity to Surf、毎年4万人以上が参加するパースの冬恒例の市民ランイベントの日です。市の中心からビーチまでのコースを走るのでこの名がついています。うちのパートナーもハーフマラソンを走ります。早朝気温9℃、体感温度で7℃、でもその情熱が寒さを吹き飛ばしてくれるのでしょう。ジムでの30分のトレッドミルでさえいやいや走る私には想像もできませんが。

This is the morning of Perth's annual Fun Run event City to Surf. My partner runs the half marathon. Chilly morning, but his passion may blow it away. Never ceases to amaze me since I am struggling with even just a 30 minute treadmill session in the gym!
