本日1月26日はオーストラリアデーの祝日です。全豪テニスを観てバーベキューをし、エアーショーや花火を見に行くのがオーストラリア人の正しい過ごし方です。
しかし、オーストラリア人になったとはいえ魂は日本人の私、初場所の千秋楽が俄然気になります。上位陣が揃って指をくわえて幕内最高優勝の行方を眺める中、幕尻優勝の歴史的瞬間は果たしてやってくるのでしょうか。
