Pricey flour, baking hot cross buns, is luxury

小麦粉がしばらく店から姿を消しています。みんな家にこもっているので、退屈のあまり一斉にパンやお菓子作りをしているためだとか。いつ入荷するのか尋ねると、奥にあるよ、と出してきてくれました。でも、いつもの値段の倍近く。毎年イースターにはホットクロスバンズを焼いているのですが、今年のはたぶん買うより高くついてしまいました。

It's been a while since flour disappeared from the store shelves. Rumour say that it's because many people locked in their home go for baking out of sheer boredom.
