Stimulus scheme, JobKeepers get more, than my earnings

オーストラリア政府のコロナ失業者への助成金は２週間毎に1,500ドル。実はこれはカジュアル勤務の私の収入よりずっと多いです。「不公平じゃないかっ！私は納税者なのにぃ！」と働くのがむなしくならないといえば嘘になりますが、実は私はこの決定はあっぱれだと思います。こんな前代未聞の状況で、弱者を守ろうと全力を尽くしてくれているというのが見えるのがいいです。オーストラリアに住んでいてよかった。

Australian government's stimulus package $1,500 for JobKeeper is actually more than I earn as a casual hospital worker. Am I allowed to whinge? "IT'S NOT FAIR! I AM A TAXPAYERRRR!!!" But having said that, honestly, I fully support the government on this decision. The national leaders are doing amazing jobs in this extraordinary situation, and moreover, it is important to me that their effort and attempt to protect the disadvantaged is visible to people. I really think I'm lucky to be in Australia.
