Home grown tomatoes, look much nicer, than they taste

昨年の日本帰省でだいぶ出遅れた地植えのミニトマトが、ようやくぼつぼつ収穫できるようになりました。実はわんさか生っていて、枝ぶりもよく、端から緑から赤へと熟していくグラデーションが美しいのですが、なんか味があんまりしないというか、今年の出来がいまいちでした。観賞用かなあ。

Slow growing cherry tomato in my back yard finally started bearing its fruits. They are quite pretty to look as each branch forms a nice colour gradation from green to red, but unfortunately they do not taste as fantastic as they look. Well, it may be mostly for decoration this time..
