Nice clean windows, embarrassed by how, different they are

2階の手の届かないところや屋根の上のソーラーパネルもあるので、年に1度、家中の窓ガラスをプロのクリーナーに磨いてもらっています。もっと頻繁に頼めばいいんですが、予算の関係もあり、普段は自分でできる範囲をたまに拭くぐらい。でも、さすがプロの仕事は大違いですね。もう家中ピカピカです。今までいかに汚れていたかをいやでも思い知り、いつものことながら少々恥ずかしいですが。

We employ a professional window cleaners once a year, normally in the summer, since we also have a couple of solar panels to clean on the roof, which are out of our reach. We could hire them more often, but our budget won't allow it so far. Every time I see their skilful but quick work I am amazed how different it is compared with my occasional lazy patchy wipes, then feel a little embarrassed..
