A friend drop in, there's no end of, chat chat chat

数ヶ月会う機会のなかった友人が今日の午後ひょっこり訪ねてきてくれました。近くに用事があったのでちょっと寄ってみたら運良く在宅だった、というカジュアルさ。携帯で連絡が付きやすい今日、こういった突撃訪問は滅多にありませんが、こんなサプライズもタイミングが合えば嬉しいですね。あとはもう女同士、エンドレスのおしゃべりです。あー楽しかった。またお待ちしております。

A friend who I haven't seen for a long time dropped in this afternoon as she happened to be nearby. We rarely pay this kind of casual visits these days because it's so easy to give a ring or drop a line, but I enjoyed her surprise visit provided the timing was perfect. We had a great time of endless girls' chit-chat.
