Weekend morning, wake up with the, fresh bread smell

仕事のある日は朝が早いので朝食はシリアルですませるのですが、土曜日は前の晩にセットしたホームベーカリーでの焼き立てのパン、サイフォンで入れるコーヒーと卵料理でゆっくり取るのが十年来の習慣です。バターやジャム、オレンジジュースもお気に入りを揃えるので、たぶん家で食べる週末の朝食が私達にとっては一番。何よりもパンの焼き上がる香りで目覚めるのが極上の贅沢です。こういうのが小さな幸せですね。

On the contrary to the weekday's quick bowl of cereals, on Saturday mornings we enjoy our favourite weekend breakfast consists of freshly baked bread by our dear old bread machine, syphon-brewed coffee, eggs, orange juice and jams all of which we selected from over a decade's hits and misses. So, I declare our home breakfast is the best of the best. Moreover, I love waking up with the smell from the bread machine. Such a simple pleasure.
