Fresh mangoes, a taste of summer among the winter feast

毎年年末に日本の実家にお歳暮代わりにクインズランド産のマンゴーを贈っています。弟家族も帰省するタイミングで、冬の幸がならぶ賑やかな食卓にほんのちょっぴり夏の味をお裾分けできたらいいなと思っています。でも、いつか私たちも加わりたいな。

Every year we send some fresh Queensland mangoes to my family in Japan as an end of-year gift, wishing to share a little taste of our beautiful summer. I hope they enjoy them as well as their winter feast together with my brother and his family, who visit to spend the New Year with our extended family and relatives. But my true wish would be to join them some day in their festive season.
