物騒な句になってしまいましたが、暴力ではありません。
昨日、アイロンのサーモスタットが突然壊れてしまいました。温度がどんどん下がっているのにスイッチが入らない...「ええっ、これが終わったらビール飲んでだらだらしようと思ったのに(昨日の句参照)、アイロン買いに行かねばならないの?!」がっがりして不貞腐れていたら、パートナーが直したと。なんでもちょっと「どづいて」やったのだとか。彼は以前も私の携帯が鳴らなくなった時に両手で思いっきり絞り上げて直したことがあります。

It sounds brutal but it's not about violence.
Yesterday, my iron broke down all of a sudden - the thermostat stopped and wouldn't heat up at all. "What?! Do I have to go and get a new iron? I wanted to have a beer and be lazy the rest of the day! (please refer to the pervious entry)" Then after a while my partner came and "I fixed it". He said, he just gave it a "bang" I also remember he once fixed my mobile that stopped ringing by squeezing it hard. Well done, mate!
