Sulking plant, can you tell me what you want?

気難しいといわれるフィドルリーフフィグの木をインドアで育ててかれこれ4年。やれ寒すぎる、暑すぎる、日光が足りない、強すぎる、水のやりすぎ、やらなさすぎ、とさまざまな試練を経て今日に至ります。8週間の留守にも耐え伸びたのに、ここのところ葉がだらんとさがり元気がありません。外に出したり内にいれたり、水をやったり控えたりいろいろ試しているんですが、お気に召さない模様。何がいけないの？どうして欲しいの？と思わず聞いてしまうのでした。

My dear four-year-old fiddle-leaf fig tree is not looking very well as her leaves drooping down these days.. It's been a fussy plant so far - too hot, too cold, too much sun or not enough, too much water or opposite and so on. I am trying everything to get her right but failing to make her happy this time - I wish I could ask her what she really wants..
