Halfway to Heaven, clouds and thunder below my feet

昨日は宝永山ハイキングで、富士山初体験でした。残念ながら下界への見晴らしはゼロでしたが、雲に包まれた中に見え隠れする山頂は神々しく、また「雷様を下に聞く」というのは誇張ではなかったのだということも新発見でした。

Yesterday was my first Mt Fuji experience, Hoei-zan hiking. Although I did not have much luck about the view of the World being surrounded by white fluffy clouds, still blessed to see the devine appearance of Fuji summit between the moving clouds. Also, I was thrilled when hearing the thunder far down.
