Murphy’s Law, everyone gets sick, at the same time

悪いことは最悪のタイミングで起こるというマーフィーの法則。今日は、同じ業務の人が同時に病欠、しかも普段はカジュアルワーカー達が手ぐすね引いてシフトがあくのを携帯の前で待ち構えているはずなのに、あいにく既にシフトを持っている人が大部分だったのでシフトがうまらずもうてんやわんやでした。ひとりで1.5人分の仕事が回ってきた。まあ、こういう日もありますね。

Murphy's Law: If something can go wrong, it will, and usually at the worst timing. This describes today's chaotic situation - the multiple workers of the same role all took sickie, and to be worse, the casual workers, who are usually eagerly waiting for jobs, were unavailable. We needed to tackle much more tasks than we normally do. Well, we know this can happen sometimes.
