Mail order, fear and suspense, until it arrives

オーストラリアに住んでいると日本の宅配および郵便システムがいかに素晴らしいか気付かずにはいられません。オンラインショッピング最近4件のうち3件でトラブル。スマートフォンは途中で紛失のためキャンセルされ、レース糸は不在票を受け取るも連絡先が記載されておらず(オーストラリアでは自動的に再配達されるなどありえない)、本部に電話してようやく追跡できた始末。そして今、ワラビーズのワールドカップ帽は1週間たってもまだ届かず、追跡番号もペンディングのまま。ちゃんと届くのかスリル満点です。日本に荷物を送るときにはいつでもきっかり5日で届くというのに。

This is whinging about Australian courier. With my recent online shopping experiences, 3 out of 4 had trouble - my smartphone has been cancelled because it was lost during shipping and has been cancelled, my crochet yarns arrived in my absence but the notice slip did not have the depot contact - I had to chase up with HQ to make an arrangement. And now, I have been waiting for my Wallabies RWC beanies for more than a week, without tracking information. What a thrill! On the contrary, when I send a parcel to Japan it never took more than 5 days.
